ClayHub.app ("ClayHub", "we", "us", or "our") operates a tournament management platform for clay target shooting organizations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

Name and email address when you create an account
Athlete profiles including division, team, and shooting history
Tournament scores and results entered by you or your organization's administrators
Parental or guardian information when registering athletes under 13
Push notification subscription data (browser endpoint URL and encryption keys) if you opt in to push notifications on a supported device

We also collect limited technical information automatically, including:

Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging
Session data to keep you signed in

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Operate the platform and provide tournament management services
Display leaderboards, scores, and athlete histories within your organization
Send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password reset
Send push notifications about squad assignments, score entries, and tournament updates if you have opted in
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
Improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

ClayHub allows athletes under 13 to participate only when a parent or guardian creates and manages their account. We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform for those accounts. Parents and guardians may request to review, update, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting support@clayhub.app.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

Within your organization — coaches and administrators in your tenant can view athlete profiles and scores for athletes in their organization
Service providers — we use trusted third-party services (database hosting, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations
Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ClayHub or others

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Push Notifications

If your organization has enabled push notifications, you may opt in to receive browser or device push notifications about squad assignments, score entries, tournament reminders, and other platform events. This is entirely voluntary.

When you opt in, your browser generates a unique push subscription containing an endpoint URL and encryption keys. We store this subscription associated with your account to deliver notifications.
You can revoke push notification permission at any time through your browser settings or from the Notifications section of your account profile page. Revoking removes your subscription from our servers.
Push subscription data is never shared with third parties and is deleted when you revoke permission or delete your account.
If you do not opt in, no push subscription data is collected or stored.

9. Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

Access or export the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Object to or restrict certain processing

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of ClayHub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
